Below we inform you about the collection, processing, and use of personal data when you use our website. Before proceeding with the following descriptions, please note the following:

Fairventures has no influence over this.

1. Data types affected 

This statement applies to personal data. Art. 4 (1) GDPR defines personal data as all data that relates to you personally as a natural person or can be related to you, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, your IP address, and information about your user behavior on our website.

2. Collection and storage of personal data and the nature and purpose of their use when visiting the website

When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automatically deleted:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • Website from which access is made (referrer URL),

  • the operating system of your computer and
  • the name of your access provider.

We collect and use this data exclusively in a non-personal form; IP addresses are automatically anonymized. We only store the abbreviated IP address for the purpose of tracking any attacks, etc. on our website. This data is collected based on our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. No personal evaluation or inference about you as a user takes place. The internal search function on our site does not process any personal data, nor does it evaluate search queries.

3. Sharing of data

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

  • in the event that there is a legal obligation to pass on data pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR, as well as this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses, Trojans, or other malware.

a) Tracking tools

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. With the tracking measures we use, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the continuous optimization of our website.

On the other hand, we use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offering for you. These interests are considered legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

b) Google Analytics

For the purpose of tailoring our website to meet your needs and continuously optimizing it, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. 6. Social Media Plug-ins

We do not use social media plugins that automatically send data to the respective provider when a page is accessed. Data is only transferred when you click on the link to share the respective post. Please note the respective platform's privacy policy.

7. YouTube

We have embedded YouTube videos from YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, on our website.

Your IP address is usually transmitted to YouTube, and YouTube stores a cookie on your device. We have activated the "- enhanced data protection mode -" option provided by YouTube, so that no personal data is evaluated if you do not watch the video. When you watch the video, YouTube receives this information and assigns it to your YouTube account if you are logged in. You can log out of your YouTube account before watching the video to prevent this.
According to YouTube, in "- enhanced data protection mode -" only data is transmitted to the YouTube server, in particular which of our websites you visited when watching the video. If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, this information is assigned to your YouTube member account. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.

  • to request the immediate correction of any incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR;
  • to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;
  • pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller;
  • According to Art. 7 (3) GDPR, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. This means that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future and
  • Pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or work or at our headquarters.

9. Right of objection

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, provided there are reasons for doing so that arise from your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which we will implement without specifying a particular situation.

10. Data security

During your visit to our website, we use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser.
