Our tree planting project in collaboration with AEE-U is now listed on Callirius Project Portal

Callirius has conducted an in-depth, independent due diligence of our methodology and project and concluded that our initiative effectively removes CO2 and promotes sustainable development holistically.

This project, located in Kyotera, Uganda, aims to restore 50 hectares of degraded land through tree planting, involving around 45 local community members.

Kyotera is a district in the Central Region of Uganda where more than 70% of inhabitants are rural populations dependent mainly on subsistence farming. African Evangelistic Enterprise Uganda (AEE-U), a non-Governmental, humanitarian organization established in Uganda in 1971, is leading this initiative. AEE-U aims to implement several programs, including livelihoods and educational support for vulnerable communities. AEE-U is an affiliate of African Enterprise International (AEI), a Christian international development agency operational in 12 African countries.

In partnership with AEE-U, we aim to deliver high-quality Carbon Dioxide Removals (CDRs) through afforestation, supported by our pre-financing, monitoring technology training, and adherence to certification standards. We also support the pre-financing of the tree-planting operations; the training and technical support for the use of the single-tree monitoring technology (TREEO App) for the yearly monitoring; and support in forestry and agroforestry best practices training and adherence to the adopted quality and certification standards.

Join us in celebrating this achievement and visit the Callirius Project Portal to learn more about AEEU and how you can get involved in this important initiative!
