TREEO at the Mass Timber Conference 2023

Did you know the construction sector accounts for roughly 40% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions? Timber construction has the potential to store carbon in the built environment and contribute to the reduction of GHG emissions from other manufacturing processes.

TREEO's Timber Value Chain Director, Jonas Breidenbach, was in Portland this year representing TREEO at the International Mass Timber Conference. But we can’t do this alone! TREEO joins forces with our partners from Mass Timber Africa, and jointly we curated the African Pavilion for this conference. Together we work towards the use of sustainable and carbon-storing building materials.
